Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
The "Hull in Frame" project is a student-led initiative supported by Hull University Business School (HUBS) and Vibrant Vision Studios. By submitting a photograph to the project, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to all individuals who live, work, study, or visit Hull. There is no entry fee. By submitting, entrants confirm they have the necessary rights to submit their photographs.
3. Submission Guidelines

Entries must be original photographs taken by the participant.

Submissions should reflect the theme: showcasing what makes Hull "cool" through street scenes, favourite places, or memorable moments.

Participants must submit their photographs via the designated submission form.

Each participant may submit multiple entries unless otherwise specified.

Submissions must not contain unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content.

Submissions must be of high quality.
4. Use of Submissions
By submitting a photograph, participants grant Hull University Business School, Vibrant Vision Studios and the public a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to:

Use, reproduce, display, publish, and distribute the submitted photographs across digital and physical platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, exhibitions, and promotional materials.

Edit, crop, or modify submitted photographs for marketing or promotional purposes, while making reasonable efforts to preserve the integrity of the original work.

Participants retain the copyright to their submitted photographs.
5. Competitions and Prizes

There will be multiple submission rounds across the summer.

Winning photographs will be selected by a judging panel and announced publicly.

Winning and shortlisted entries may be featured in a public photo exhibition and promoted through social media.

Prizes will be awarded for winning entries. Details of prizes will be announced separately.

The judges’ decisions are final.
6. Personal Data
Personal data collected during the submission process (e.g., name, email address) will be used solely for the purposes of administering the project, contacting winners, and promoting the project outcomes. Data will be managed according to Hull University Business School's privacy policies.
7. Liability
Hull University Business School and Vibrant Vision Studios accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted due to any computer error.
Participants agree to release and hold harmless Hull University Business School and Vibrant Vision Studios from any liability, claim, or damage arising from participation in the project or acceptance of any prize.
8. Amendments
The organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the project's official channels.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
